Collaborating as a Large Group

Send a few representatives for a tour

Want to see our facilities and learn more about what SYMin does? Then booking a tour is a great idea! We host tours on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-4pm and 5:45-6:15pm. We can support small groups of up to four or five on our tours.

Donation drives for our needed items

Large groups are incredibly helpful when trying to collect needed items in large quantities. You can check our urgent shopping list here. This list is updated with real time information from our supply inventory. Or you can donate the food and toiletry bags we provide clients on site and during our bi-weekly outreaches in the community. We are increasing our outreach services this year and will need many of these! We've made donating these bags easy for you by providing a list of components that you purchase, assemble into sturdy (non-paper) bags and bring to us once completed. We encourage you to make notes of encouragement as well to put in the bags — clients love these!

Canvas for new readers for our newsletter or prayer team

Raising awareness for homeless youth is an incredibly important part of what we do at SYMin and we could use your help! Your team can encourage people in your sphere of influence to join our newsletters. Our quarterly newsletter has lots of information and for those interested we also have monthly prayer team letters that let others know exactly how to pray for our clients. We'd love for you and your group to help pray for all of our clients' needs!

Provide a buffet meal for bigger events

Pool your resources as a large group and either cook or caterer meals for larger events at SYMin. The next larger event that we will host will be our Easter Festival, and we will need help with a tasty spread for our clients.

Spend Spring Break with us

We love to offer for larger groups to join us for their Spring Breaks. Those that join us can expect to learn about youth homelessness, how to help and will complete a variety of service projects. We are particularly good for high school or college-aged students but middle schoolers will also benefit from the experience.

Let us know how you or your group might like to collaborate.
